Goedel Machines (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Pinocchio, a research preview available at pinocchio.goedelmachines.com.
Information We Collect
Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. Google is used only to identify you.
Source Material and Instructions: The files you upload, the text you paste, and the instructions you write for each task. Source material contains whatever you choose to put in it, which can include personal or confidential information.
Task Records and Results: The tasks you submit, their progress, and the work products produced for you, including the evidence that traces each result back to your sources.
Preview Profile: Before your first result opens, we ask for your name, organisation, role, what you are using Pinocchio for, and whether we may contact you about the preview.
Technical Data: The session cookies that keep you signed in, and server logs of requests to the Service.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To authenticate you and manage your session
- To produce the work product you asked for and check its numerical derivations against your sources
- To show you your task history and results
- To understand how the preview is used and to improve it
- To communicate with you about the preview, where you have agreed to that
- To comply with legal obligations
AI Model Providers
Producing a work product requires sending your source material and instructions to third-party AI model providers we select. Those providers process the data to generate and revise the work product, under their own terms. We may change providers during the preview; the model in use is shown when you start a task.
Google Data Usage
Pinocchio’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use Google sign-in to identify you: your name, email address, and profile picture
- We do not request or access your Gmail, Calendar, Drive, or any other Google data
- We do not sell Google user data to third parties
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements
Data Storage and Security
- We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Uploaded files and results are kept in private storage and served only to the account that created the task
- Internal processing logs, which can include your instructions and excerpts of your sources, are kept for operator review and are never exposed through the Service
Data Retention
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service
- We may retain certain data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements
- You can request deletion of your data by contacting us
Your Rights
- You can sign out at any time from within the Service
- You can revoke Pinocchio’s access from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- You can request deletion of your account, source material, and results by contacting hi@goedelmachines.com
Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service: cloud hosting, database and file storage, authentication, and the AI model providers described above. These providers are bound by contractual obligations or their own published terms to protect your data. We do not sell your information. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website.
