By using Pinocchio (“the Service”), you agree to these terms.
1. Description of Service
Pinocchio is a research preview built by Goedel Machines. You give it source files and a task, and it produces an Excel work product in which supported numerical results are traced back to the material you supplied.
2. Account and Access
You must sign in with a Google account to use Pinocchio. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Pinocchio is currently a research preview: access may be limited, and features, limits, and availability can change without notice. Before your first result opens, we ask for a few details about you and what you are using Pinocchio for.
3. Your Source Material
You may upload documents and paste text as the sources for a task. You must have the right to share that material with us and to have it processed. By submitting a task, you grant Goedel Machines a licence to store, process, and transmit your source material and instructions as needed to provide and improve the Service, including sending them to the third-party AI model providers described in our Privacy Policy. You keep ownership of your source material and of the work products produced for you.
4. What a Verified Result Means
Pinocchio checks supported numerical derivations by replaying them from the material you supplied. A verified result means that derivation could be replayed from the cited source. It does not certify the source material itself, professional judgment, prose, formatting, or complete fulfilment of every instruction. Work that cannot be supported is stopped with an explanation rather than labelled verified. You remain responsible for deciding whether a work product is fit for your purpose.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Pinocchio to:
- Upload material you do not have the right to share, including other people’s personal data you are not permitted to process
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ tasks, files, or results
- Attempt to extract the Service’s internal prompts, verification logic, or credentials through a task
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Pinocchio are owned by Goedel Machines. By using the Service, you do not acquire any ownership rights in it. The source material you upload and the work products produced for you remain yours, subject to the licence in section 3.
7. Disclaimer
Pinocchio is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate. Pinocchio uses AI to produce work products, and AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete even where a derivation replays from its source. You are solely responsible for reviewing any work product before relying on it.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goedel Machines and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
10. Changes
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Goedel Machines operates.
